In the information technology it means the assignment and verification of access authorization of users regarding data and services. Usually the authorization follows the effective authentication. RFID Reading technology allows the authorized use of workstations, server rooms, and server racks. RFID ID media can be delivered as RFID cards, as key  rings, or for instance integrated in bracelets or watches. One RFID ID media can thus be used for all authorization functions in your company.

Biometrics uses physiological and typical characteristics for the authentication, that means the check of the authenticity of a person. The most established methods are the specification of the finger print and the iris scan. In addition the check of weight and number of persons can be included. We offer different biometrics solutions for the authorized access to areas and rooms as well for the use of technics and IT solutions.

The SmartCard Logon products are sophisticated SmartCardLogon solutions for Windows® and Unix systems. They range from the SmartCardLogon application for end customers up to network/server based solutions for business. SmartCardLogon is available for Terminal Logon Citrix, Terminal Logon Windows, Logon Windows Domain, Logon Windows PC and Logon Linux.

The SmartCard Logon technology is also available per certificate on data storage media as for instance USB sticks. It works similar the former hard lock principle.

Security / PKI Manager manages automatically the connection between varying SmartCards and operating systems or applications. A lot of actual standard client systems/applications as for instance Internet Explorer, Outlook Express, Outlook, Firefox, Thunderbird, Adobe Acrobat, PGP, and Lotus Notes already contain functions and interfaces for the easy connection of SmartCards.
